2006-12-12 [Linderel]: GIMP is good as well... and free. :) It may not be as fancy as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro or OpenCanvas, but I'm satisfied with it.
2006-12-12 [Ilana]: GIMP is almost as good as Photoshop... and yes, the not costing hundreds of dollars is nice too.
2006-12-12 [Ocean Soul]: I have heard a lot of good things about the Gimp and also read a comparing article about Photoshop/Gimp in a mag on digital stuff.. soo.. I can't say I've really ever got the hang of using the Gimp, but then I also have to admit that it took me several years to get halfway decent with Photoshop ;)
2006-12-13 [Ilana]: I hear ya. I think you get most of the same tools with GIMP as with Photoshop. The only thing I didn't like when I tried it out was the type tool, but I hear they've since fixed that.
